- VPMR has been operating for over 12 years, since its inception as a division of Kelly/Waldron & Company.
- 1995 - Founded within Kelly/Waldron & Company
- 2000 - Kelly/Waldron was acquired by McKesson Corporation
- 2002 - Verispan LLC was established by McKesson as a joint venture with Quintiles Transnational Corporation
- 2007 - Verispan Primary Market Research Division separated to form its own independent company as VPMR LLC
